Mission
Our mission is to build a community of supporters who actively use their time, talent and financial resources to enhance educational opportunities for all of our students.
Vision
The Spokane Public Schools Foundation envisions a future in which learning is enjoyed and encouraged.

Importance of a Foundation
As an advocate for educational excellence, the Spokane Public Schools Foundation raises funds, gathers resources and acts as a catalyst to involve the community in public education. Donations made to the Spokane Public Schools Foundation fund programs which go beyond those supported through tax revenues.

These funds continue and expand the traditions of excellence and innovation in Spokane Public Schools.

As the second largest district in Washington State, this school district serves nearly 30,000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. With the present economic climate, dwindling state funds and our continuing drive for school reform, the needs of our schools are great and ongoing.

Foundations are becoming a vital source of funding to provide “the extras"-supplemental materials, enrichment activities and extra support for students to reach their potential.
