Spokane Public Schools Foundation announces new officers

Spokane, WA -- The Spokane Public School Foundation (SPSF) is pleased to announce a new slate of officers.

At the June meeting, the Board recently voted in its new slate of officers. They are K.C. Constable, President; Katie Scofield, Vice President; Steve Jones, Secretary; and Laura Parasida as Treasurer.

KC Constable will remain President of SPSF. KC brings his experience as an entrepreneur and leader to SPSF.

Steve Jones was reelected as the SPSF Secretary and will continue to bring his humor and insight to cataloging the Board. Steve is a lawyer practicing with Eymann Allison Hunter Jones, P.S.

Laura Parasida, of Anastasi, Moore & Martin, PLLC joined the SPSF Board in 2020 and joins its Executive Committee as Treasurer. Laura brings a wealth of experience as both a CPA and CFE. The Foundation has always been very fortunate to have skilled CPAs watching our financials and Laura carries on that tradition with both a BS in Business and Accounting and Master of Accountancy from the University of Idaho.

Kaite Scofield has been a Board member for two years and is the newly elected Vice President. She has brought some specific skills to the Foundation the last few years in communication and marketing and she will chair our 2020 STEAM-Powered fundraising event. Katie oversees Numerica Credit Union’s financial education and youth programs. She is high energy, very dedicated, and makes the Foundation better with everything she gets involved in.
