With a robust 25+ year career at Avista, Scott has honed his expertise in social media, marketing communications, and corporate sponsorships. His commitment to community service is evident through his past board positions with local non-profits, including Spokane Youth Sports Association, Spokane Girls Fastpitch Softball Association and AAF Spokane.

Currently, Scott’s passion of giving back continues to focus on initiatives that support and empower youth. Working closely with his alma mater, John R. Rogers High School, the synergy between the SPS Foundation and Rogers amplifies his impact, allowing him to contribute significantly to the development and success of young people in these communities, making a positive impact on the next generation.

Scott has a Bachelor of Arts from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University. He and longtime SPS educator, Carmen, have been married more than 31 years and have 3 grown children.
