Gerald (Jerry) Winkler has always been surrounded by educators. His mother was a teacher, his wife Lynn is a retired teacher, his daughter Kelsey is a teacher. Both of his children received their education from Spokane Public Schools.
A retired architect and former President of Integrus Architecture, Jerry has always taken advantage of the opportunities to volunteer in the classroom to talk about architecture.
As president of the Spokane Public Schools Foundation, he enjoys visiting classrooms where children are using tools that have been funded through Foundation grants.
